Global Education

Education extends beyond the classroom.

We learn and gain knowledge from each of our experiences. We go through our lives being shaped by what we have been exposed to. The real question lies in the collective impact of what our life experiences provide us. We must consciously account for the exposure that educates each person around the world. Education is what we walk away with each day; and, it is who we become. The fortunate or unfortunate experiences that we have weigh much more prevalently on our lives and those around us. To some, education is the structured effort of our academic activities — but to all, education is the resulting phenomena of what we experience according to our own way of seeing things. Leadership is the key to salvaging our lives and pools of knowledge. It is the balance of experience and guidance that characterizes the powerful benefits of leadership. Educators need to be leaders and the leaders of other daily routines need to become educators of our life lessons. It is a time to rethink and reengineer how we learn and accrue knowledge. Simply being told what to memorize and passing a test is no longer a credible asset to navigate the our simple lives much less international issues.
